Anna Meier

Annie Meier is the research director at the Center for Inclusive Democracy (CID) where guides CID’s research portfolio and has directed numerous state and national studies on voting behavior, voter demographics, and policies that impact democratic participation. Her research has included examinations of vote-by-mail ballot rejection, campaign finance, automatic voter registration, and voter turnout. She holds a bachelor's degree in clinical nutrition from UC Davis and a master's degree in public policy and administration from California State University, Sacramento. Prior joining CID in 2020, Meier worked as a research study coordinator for the Foods for Health Institute (FFHI) at UC Davis, where she coordinated studies on lactation, microbiology, and infant-maternal nutrition.
